Oregon Foreclosures,/p>
What is the most saddening about the foreclosure crisis are the young lives that will be impacted from it and the damage that may be done to the children. It has been estimated that as it stands today, almost two million children nationwide either have or soon will have had their lives disrupted by a home foreclosure.

The state of Oregon is running about average for the numbers game in the country at this time and in December averaged about 3,100 new foreclosures. Not a huge number, and one that is about consistent with the numbers they have been running in Oregon for most of the recent months, yet a far distance from whet the numbers were a year or two ago.

The numbers here are not expected to vary more than a few hundred per month in the near future, but if the current state of affairs continues for six months or more, Oregon could face a very different set of numbers in foreclosure. Right now it is in a sort of wait and see condition and people are existing day to day and just paying the bills as they come in and watching retirement funds being diverted to the bills fund just to keep heads above water.

While most of the people hat make the projections agree that the crisis should stabilize and reverse across the entire country within the next year, there is no guarantee that it will happen that way and there is no foresight into what other problems will befall the market before it returns to some stat of normalcy.

The only thing that we can be sure of is that things will assuredly get worse before they get better, even in Oregon. The question is how much worse will that be and who will be lucky enough to survive?
